Coffee with CBD

Energy drinks containing cannabidiol (and no THC) in their ingredient list are quite a new idea. We’ve had some relaxing CBD drinks hit the shelves in the past few years, but caffeine is usually associated with an opposite effect. Still, despite that, various CBD infused frappes, lattes and cappuccinos are becoming a staple of menu in local cafes in several states and foreign countries, where CBD has a fully legalized status.

Why would one drink a cup of this type of beverage in the morning or later on? What are the wellness benefits of coffee with CBD? Does it work when paired with caffeine? Let’s find out.

Coffee with CBD Wellness Benefits

The benefits of CBD are one of the hottest topics in the medical and food industries nowadays. While plenty of research is far from over, early results prove that cannabidiol has strong anti-inflammatory properties. That means it can effectively relieve pain, headaches, muscle aches and have a positive effect on anxiety, makes you less nervous and helps with skin health conditions like acne. A Powerful Mix

While CBD is quite effective by itself, caffeine may add a new layer to its properties. Especially when it comes to physical exercise. Caffeine will help you with concentration and give you more energy during your workouts.

Meanwhile, CBD should take care of side effects of exercise and provide much needed relaxation afterwards. Additionally, thanks to its anti-inflammatory effects, the soreness of muscles gets reduced a lot and so do the other types of pain. The regeneration of tissues should also be faster with CBD.

A Look at the Market

What are your choices when choosing a good drink or coffee with CBD? Canned energy drinks are easily the most common, and can be taken anywhere. You can drink them before your training, to get that energy boost you needed. If you’re in love with good old coffee, there are some cold brews available as well, usually in bottles. And finally, if you prefer something more natural, plenty of restaurants offer their own coffee with CBD or a variety of energy shakes.

Reminder: be sure to check the legal status of CBD in your state/country. So far the recreational use of cannabis in the US was allowed in Alabama, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont and Washington.
